We actually would really like to know!
Kultchara claims that Scam Rinpoche’s previous (24th) incarnation was a monk named Kentrul Thubten Lamsang. Here is what was posted on their Facebook yesterday.
“Kentrul Thubten Lamsang Rinpoche, was one of the most important disciples of Kyabje Trijang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso and often referred to as his “heart son”. Their relationship was so close that it was often described with a common Tibetan saying – like “a piece of flesh from the heart”. The old monks likened Trijang Rinpoche and Kentrul Rinpoche’s Guru-Disciple relationship to that of Lama Tsongkhapa and Khedrup Je.
Kentrul Thubten Lamsang Rinpoche and Zong Rinpoche were both well-known students of Trijang Rinpoche, and had a very close relationship, like brothers. Kentrul Rinpoche would sometimes seek teachings from Zong Rinpoche who was very famous for his Dharma knowledge at that time.”
We have some questions
Q1: Why does such an important master only have one picture show up on Google search?
Q2: Why are all the sources/biographies/testimonies on this supposedly important master only available on Scam Cuckoo Rinpoche and Kultchara affiliated websites?
Q3: Why aren’t any of Kentrul Thubten Lamsang’s teachings recorded and/or published?
What about his teacher and contemporary?
Thubten Lamsang’s supposed teacher…
Thubten Lamsang’s supposed contemporary…
Zong Rinpoche is well known for being the teacher of Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche – Spiritual Director of the FPMT and gave many teachings and transmissions in the West. He also has “Chod In The Ganden Tradition” published under his name.
Being the disciple and contemporary of these two great masters with a huge list of their own contribution to Buddhism; this Kentrul Thubten Lamsang’s supposed achievements were… Erect a few statues at a monastery?
Also, we have yet to see official written recognition letter(s) to prove that Scam Rinpoche’s past life was indeed this very little known of monk to begin with.
Again, Scam Cuckoo doing what he does best – Scamming people into believing that he is something that he has no way of proving.
